I'm currently building my wife's family tree and I have searched the net for Rowan Cottage Inchberry and have discovered your request for info. Unfortunately I can't help you with the Allan family but my wife's great grandfather Percy Robinson married Elizabeth McIntosh (born in Inchberry). They lived in Helsby Chester at their house they named Inchberry but on the 18th Nov1933 he died whilst staying at Rowan Cottage in Inchberry. I wonder if they were staying with the Allan family
Elizabeth's family can be traced back to 1700's living in or around Inchberry.
Are you aware when the Allan's stopped living at the cottage.
