Thank you for your comment. Nassau had me confused for awhile. I looked into the New York connection, and even into the Bahamas (of which Nassau is the capital), before I was eventually pointed to Germany. I need to get my notes out to remember which records clarified Germany, but I am 99.9% certain. However, I am still intrigued about the family's short stay in New York City, and I will continue to hunt for answers.

Also, thank you for your earlier post on Horace Maxwell F. Mason. I am very excited to receive the information you sent and would like to communicate more through email.
