My husband's father Merrell Garnet Hickman told him he had relatives in Allentown. He is decended from Lemuel Dirkson Hickman, born 28 Aug 1831 in Delaware. 1850 Census Md. shows him living w/ Parker Wharton who lived next to Peter Davis. He married Zipporah Catherine Davis 25 Aug 1851, Whaleyville,Worcester,Md. Haven't been able to find information on his birth or parents in Delaware. Can you help?
