Just noticing this message and hope you have found MUCH INFORMATION on this family, since your post of Feb 2, 2009 ! !

I also am interested in this family, as my husband's grandmother was Laura Abbott (1884-1918), whose father was Benjamin Sherman Abbott (1850-1918), originally from Dorchester County, but moved to Baltimore. Benjamin's father was Thomas Henry Abbott (1825-1881) of Dorchester County. As far as I know at present, we have only one picture of Laura -- her wedding picture. She married William Stewart Evans in 1906 in Baltimore. We have no pictures of any other Abbott family members to my knowledge.

Perhaps we can share information and both gain in the process!
