My great uncle Francesco Lanni started an ice cream business in Worcester and married an English woman. The family did come from Cassino and Francesco's father was called Tomasso and his mother was Frangesca (or Francesca, I'm not sure of the spelling. Her maiden name was Melanangra or something similar). They changed the spelling to Lannie, while in England. Francesco came to England in the 1890s. If this isn't your Francesco, they would most likely be related. Francesco had son's, one was Nicholas, and a daughter Angelina. Is any of this making sense to you or sound in any way familiar?
My grandmother Pasquarella (known as Lena or Pac) married Antonio Vetesse, who died, then married my grandfather Gaetano Cascarino (pronounced Cascarina). He was known as Frank (don't ask me why).
