The problem with my research is, that I have nothing more than for my greatgrandfather than a declaration of citezenship ( http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=alsacelorraine...). I can't even find anything about my grandfather who was born in the US! I know nothing about my great grandparents other than their names. I have no living relatives that know anymore than I do. It seems that finding information on the Walter side of my family has hit a brick wall!
