Household page leads to dead end

I'm trying to research Abraham Mänsson Spogar, a Dragon for most of his life, was listed as a Korporal for several of his children's baptismal certificates in örkened parish.

Information I have:
Born: 1808 in St. Brödhult (found on pages 296 and 297 of the 1822-1832 Jämshög parish, Blekinge household index)
Moved in 1827 to örkened parish in Kristianstad, where he lived for the rest of his life, marrying in 1827/8 and had several children with his wife Bengta åkesdotter (1811-1870).
All three of his sons became Dragons as well, one took the name Spogar, another Stark, and another became Hurtig.

My problem is that page 296 of the 1822-1832 household page is blank for where he came from. I've tried going through St. Brödhult and Wilhurst in the 1822-1832 book and the prior book to no avail, and the baptismal records for the year of his birth appear to have been lost in a fire. As Spogar was a military name he appears to have acquired after his transfer to örkened, I don't think he would be listed in any surname book (never used, don't really know what they are), and I don't know where to look for military records, or if they would help me figure out who is parents are.

Does anyone have a suggestion for how to figure out who his parents are?
