Becky,
Yes, I'm the one who posted the note about the Moliusis in CT.
I have no idea as to where in Pennsylvania that William's children were born. I don't find the family in the 1930 Census so maybe they returned to Lithuania.
My Petras Moliusis family from New Britain returned to Lithuania after the country regained its independence in 1918 and WW I ended. I found three of the Moliusis children returning to the U.S. One U.S. born daughter returned here in 1936. Then in 1939, their U.S. born son and his 10 year old sister (born in Lithuania) came back.
The parents remained in Lithuania and are buried there. The 10 year old daughter is listed as being born in Kasauskai, Lithuania which is about 3 miles south of Kalvarija. The records seem to indicate this Moliusis line came from the area around Kalvarija but that's not too far from the Punsk area. During the Russian occupation (1795-1918) they both were in the same province (gubernia) of Suwealki/Suvalkija. I checked the Lithuanian White pages and only found about 6 listings for forms of Moliusis and they are all around the area of kalvarija and Marijampole.
What is the arrival information for Eva and Kate? I think I found Eva arriving in 1901 and headed to a brother, Juozas.
There are all sorts of Moliusis records in the Pennsylvania area:
-Anthony and Katie MOLUSZIS living in Shenandoah per the 1900 Census
-Joseph Moluszis living in Shenandoah as a boarder with a Lithuanian family per the 1910 Census
-1924 Passport application for Anna Molushis whose husband is John Molushis living in Edwardsville, Pennsylvania.
My suspicion is that the Moliusis line I am researching is related to the ones in Punsk but it requires going back a few more generations to find a common ancestor.
Please stay in touch.
Tom
