Viktor Etelä, married to Elin Emiliu immigrated from Finland to Duluth, MN in 1902.
He was born in Viipuri (Vyborg) on Jan. 19, 1879.
I have his Naturalization papers, death certificate and passport info from the Institute of Migration. I've been unable to find his parents on these or any other documents or sites yet.He states that he was Lutheran. He was not listed in the Hiski church records. Does anyone know where else to look?

My mother was only a few years old when her mother died and she went to live with August and Olga Suominen in Maple, WI. I have been unable to find any Finnish records other than passport for them either. August had a sister, Linda, who stayed in Finland. I would like to find the names of the parents of all of these people. Can anyone help?
