Paragraph 346 A. MEYER

"............Meyer arrived in Victoria on board the Saldanha which sailed from Liverpool on 2nd May 1860, arriving in Melbourne on 21st August that year. Two of Meyer's travelling companions were AUGUST HARTMANN and Heinrich Bolle who also settled in the Ovens District..........."

This agrees with what Grove27 wrote. I am going into the Wangaratta Library tomorrow and they have a pretty good section on Beechworth and District so will see if I can find anything else for you on August and Amelia.
