After an illness of some weeks' duration, Miss Isabella Forbes, a former resident of this city, died on Friday morning, the 29th ult., at her brother's residence, 77 Eastwood-street, Kensington. Deceased, who was in her sixty-eighth year, was born at Essendon, and was the daughter of the late Alexander Forbes. The funeral, which was private, took place on Saturday morning, for interment in the Melbourne Cemetery. The Rev. E. Shackell held a house service and officiated at the cemetery. Ernest W. Jackson was the undertaker.
