I saw your post & was hoping that you could tell me who your Martilda Roberts' parents were please.
I have a Matilda Roberts born Cornwall 1847, in my family that I cant find. Her parents were William Roberts and Ann Cock. They came to Australia on the "William Money" and Ann died on board & was buried at sea just two weeks out from Port Adelaide.
William was left with four children- Catherine, Emily, William & Matilda.
By 1853 they had moved to near Bendigo, Victoria, but I cant find anything on Matilda in South Australia or Victoria.
