Can anyone help me my great grandmother was put in a mental hospital we think in Queensland as she live north of brisbane after the birth of her last child which was born nov 1937. Her name was Ivy Ellen Dobson nee peters born 1899 Queensland and died 1994 Vic, Australia. Was wondering if records are available and where would I get them? Any help would be great. We don't know why she was put in and her husband Alfred Dobson remarried in 1946.
