Surnames: LUND,
Henry (b.c.1840) & Elizabeth (b.c.1841)[nee Hobby) LUND arrived Port Phillip, Victoria on "Orient" in May, 1880, with sons Robert Stanley (b.c.1868,Manchester,England);William E (b.c.1873);Arthur (b.c.1875);Joseph (b.c.1877) & Edward (b.c.1879).
Robert S (my g/father) married Annie Adelaide WILSON (b.c.1875 Mt Barker, Sth Aust) at Broken Hill 22 March 1899, then migrated to Qld in 1906 - Annie died on "Minnie Downs",
Tambo 1913, Robert S died Ipswich 1934.
William died 1913 Broken Hill, apparently unmarried.
Arthur married Annie LEYSON at Broken Hill in 1897.
JOSEPH & EDWARD I have not been able to locate so far, & assume they may have come to Qld to work in one of the many mines then in existence.
Henry & Elizabeth I have not found any trace of neither, but, from RSL's marriage cert, Henry was deceased by March 1899, although they may have come to Qld & brought the 2 youngest children with them - there is very little verbal or written information currently available to me.
Relatives are:- Wilson, Melton (SA), Leyson, Keech, Vine, Tonkin, Stephenson (NSW), Lund, Nissen, Blanchard, Cavanagh, Moore, Pitman, Rackemann, Fox, Linde, Lauman, Bell, Jorgensen, Kraut, Nielsen, Jensen, Hansen, Ahern, Anderson, Pakleppa, et al (Qld).
Perhaps someone may have accidently come across some of the missing twigs (or leaves).
Many thanks, Brian L. (Rocky, CQ)
