Goolagong or Gooloogong are the same place and yes they are just out of Cowra.
Not much left there of the township these days but a wonderful country pub and a general store etc - always worth a visit when in the area.
I have been researching the history of that area but in an earlier period i.e from first settlement up to about 1880's. My main interest lies in the family names who were living in the area when my Dalton family worked on Gooloogong Station
In 1875 the Grevilles directory described Goolagong as 'a small township in the police and electoral districts of Carcoar, county of Bathurst, 223 miles west from Sydney...'etc
