Services Set
For Monday
Funeral services for Robert A. Kumpf, 53, of 221 W. 57th St., Loveland, Colo., formerly of Cheyenne, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Wiederspahn Chapel of the Chimes, with burial at Beth El. The Rev. Stanley Guille will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Forest Castleberry, Art Willets, Glenn Buckholz, Ed Hicks, Lee Thompson and W. J. Griffith.
Kumpf died Thursday at the VA Hospital in Cheyenne after an extended illness. He was employed as a carpenter.
He was born at Leigh, Neb., and was a veteran of World War II. He had lived in Cheyenne for three and a half years, moving here from Belgrade, Mont.
Kumpf was a member of American Legion Post No. 6 of Cheyenne.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne T. Kumpf of Loveland, five children, Sharon Wisroth and Rick Kumpf of Cheyenne, Jerry Kumpf of Atwood, Calif., Penny Muhr of Westover AFB, Mass., and Steve Kumpf of Lewiston, Ida.; and four grandchildren.
Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Anna Kumpf of Omaha; and two brothers and six sisters, Raymond Kumpf, Marilyn Pickering, Roger Kumpf and Earlene Sterbo of Omaha, Katherine Willits of Lexington, Neb., Lole Hersh of Fremont, Neb., Betty Foreman of Bellevue, Neb., and Virginia Welch of Georgia.
Mrs. Kumpf had been in Cheyenne with her husband during his illness.
