I am looking for the parents of Frederick M/Fred Evans. He was born on Jan 20, 1895 in Monroe county, WI. He is shown in 1900 census as a 4 or 5 year old boy living with his grandfather, John W. Evans, a widower who was born in Wales and then lived in Delaware county Ohio until his wife died in 1889. So it seems not possible that John W. could have been the parent but none of his kids look to have been married before 1900 either, again, as far as I have found. So, could one of John W. Evans's kids have gotten married and had Fred M. and a younger sister Beatress b. 1897 in Monroe as well, and then died or something? Any help solving this mystery appreciated. Fred M Evans later went on to become a circuit judge and a father/grandfather.
