I don't know if this person is related, Frederick Meleciah Hottman (my fourth great grandfather) did live in Ohio until the 1880s after he arrived in the United States from Germany. I would very much appreciate any assistance you could give me. I'm kind of murky on anything prior to the US and also anything about this branch of my family in general was very much second-hand through his second great grand daughter (who doesn't know much of anything about them).
