FDL's interesting French background

Lori, Your posting has us asking for more...So much of Fond du Lac's early French history is not written down.

Somewhere I've seen the hyphenated name Durand-Ruelle, is that the museum in France? Where is Doeuil-sur-le-Mignon? There must be some interesting stories about Jean Durand and his wife, as well as their descendants.
Hope you will send in some more of your Durand, Paquette, Boswell family's history to the FDL list, maybe with a few pictures it would be a good attachment to the FDL Co Website? Tracy would find just the right spot for it!
