I imagine they were religous.My grandmother was brought up Catholic, but I'm not sure if that originated from her fathers Hennen line or her mothers Oldenburg line, or both. I have tried to search them on the familysearch.org site but come up empty handed. I'm requesting death certificates like others suggested. I was wondering if someone might know if there were any burial records that list Anna's maiden name. Anna, Albert, and their son Max were all buried in Estabrook cemetary. I'm thinking most of the records that will help are likely in Germany or non existent. But since Anna and Albert arrived in Fond Du Lac in 1923 and never left and they both died there (1948 and 1959) I was hoping some records might reside in Fond Du Lac.
