George Drinkwine, Resident of City 50 years, Dies at home on Walnut Street
George Drinkwine, one of the old settlers of this city, died at 3:30 Monday afternoon at his home, 221 Walnut street, aged 86 years. He had been in poor health for the past few years. Mr. Drinkwine had resided in this city for over 50 years, coming here from Canada.
Besides his widow he leaves three daughters, mrs. Mary Robidoux, this city, Mrs. Ellen Suppre, Arkansas,and Mrs. Sinnib Bray, Milwaukee; and 2 sons, George and Frank both of this city.
The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning from St. Joseph's church, Rev. J. J. Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetary.

Mrs. A. Drinkwine dead, aged 102; was born in 1824

Mrs. Amelia Drinkwine who celebrated her 102nd birthday anniversary yesterday, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Bray, 337 Western Avenue, this morning at 7 o'clock. She had been in poor health for the past 8 years.
Mrs. Drinkwine was the widow of George Drinkwine, well known in this city. She was born in Canada, May 28, 1824.
Four children survive, Mrs. Albert Bray, Mrs. Mary Rebedew, George and Frank Drinkwine. There are also 24 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held from the Zinke funeral parlors Monday morning at 8:30 and at 9 from St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Rev. J. J. Collins will officiate and interment will be at Calvary Cemetary.
Amelia would have been 190 years old last week!
