Have you ever come across any Dodge or Washington County connections to your FRITZ family? We know that Augusta [Justine] FRITZ [1842-1917] married Charles /Karl ALBERT in 1859. They had both emigrated from Germany to the Mayville / Horicon area, probably in the 1850's? Their 12 ALBERT children were b. Dodge Co. WI between 1860 & 1881.

Justine had at least 4 siblings who also came to WI:
1) Lawrence FRITZ [b. ca.1837/8 Wuerttemberg, res. Hubbard, Dodge Co. WI; Civil War, d. 1863 ARK];
2) Caroline FRITZ [b. ca. 1839 Germany; mar. 1858 to John Geo. GUTJAHR; res. Wayne, Washington Co. WI; d. 1912].
3) Ferdinand FRITZ [b. ca.1843/4 Germany; res. Addison, Washington Co. WI; Civil War, d. 1862 Gettysburg PA];
4) William FRITZ [b. ca.1844-6 Germany, res. Tn. Hubbard or Theresa, Dodge Co. WI; survived Civil War, d. unknown.]

Tentatively on Eva's death certificate, the parents' names were given as Lorenz FRITZ and Eva [surname unknown], & we do not know if they also came to the US.
