Jefferson Davis Staley died at Porter Falls Oct 20, 1942

Jefferson Davis Staley, 79, passed away at his home at Porter Falls, W,Va October 20, 1942, after a long illness.
He is survived by his widow, Elizabeth(should be Virginia) and the following Children: Mrs Stell Sibel, of Cleveland Ohio, Mrs. J.A. Goudy. of Porter Falls, Mrs Lillie Wright of Reader, L.C. Staley, of Porter Falls, thirty granchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ on Friday October 23, at 3:30 p.m. with Brother Gray officating, and interment will be made in Muddle Fork Cemetery under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Service.
