Thank you very much for all the helpful information. I have done a bit of research since my last post and have determined that F. and E. Snyder were Frederick Snyder who came from Maryland and his wife was Elizabeth Pennybacker. There is no direct source that proves this but a good bit of circumstantial information. Frederick Snyder was a soldier in the Revolutionary War and his widow, who was living in Ohio at the time, applied for her widow's pension there. Connecting the dots leaves me fairly convinced that these were the parents of both Nancy Snyder and her sister, Elizabeth. Both sisters married Shockeys. Nancy married John Shockey and Elizabeth married Jacob Shockey. Nancy and John remained in Morgan County but Jacob and Elizabeth moved to Ohio.
