The funeral for Mrs. Delsie Mae Garten, 77 of Blount will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Grace Free Will Baptist Church at Blount by the Rev. Al Mendez. Burial will be in Garten cemetery.
Mrs. Garten died Sunday in Mountain State Hospital.
Surviving, sons, Eugene, Buster, Thomas of Blount Rpy of Campbell's Creek, daughter, Mrs. Thelma Hicks of Campbell's Creek, brothers, Mansford Taylor of Quick, Leon Taylor of Charleston, sisters, Mrs. Ava O'Dell of Virginia, Mrs. Edna Keffer and Mrs. Pearl Rhodes of Coal Fork 22 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and one great=great grandchild. The body is at Fidler and Frame funeral home.

Services for William Floyd Edens 58, retired farmer of Cooper's Creek who died in a Charleston Hospital yesterday, will be at 1 p.m. today at his home with the Rev. Mike Moss in charge. Burial will be in the Edens cemetery on Cooper's Creek. The Casto-Wilson will be in charge.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lue Edens, four daughters, Mrs. Jodie Foster and Mrs. Grady Pritt of Cooper's Creek, Mrs. Lovell Rock Quinwood and Mrs. Rome Teal of Winona two sons, William Grady and Floyd R. Edens five sisters, Mrs. Albert Mace of Charleston Ms. Walter Schoolcraft, Mrs. Fred Burdette, and Mrs. James P. Deel of Big Chimney and Mrs. Charles Hastings of Chelyan and three brothers, Wesley Edens of Little Sandy, Meredith Edens, of Quinwood and Sylvester Edens of South Charleston.
