JAMES V. DAVIS, 77 Of Mile Fork on Cooper's Creek died Thursday night at his home after a long illness. A retired employee of McJunkin Supply Co., Mr. Davis was a member of Advent Christian Church and had been a lifelong resident of Kanawha County. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Letha Davis, two sons, Howard of Charleston and Delmar of Dunbar; six daughters, Mrs. Icie Hammond of Charleston, Mrs. Thelma King and Mrs. Vona Starcher of Meadowbrook, Mrs. Mabel Cunningham. of RPD 1. Elkview Mrs. Doris Casto of Mile Fork, Mrs. Eva Casto of Big Chimney; 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, Service will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Elk Valley Advent Christian Church with Rev. Eugene Huffman Cemetery on Mile Fork, under the direction of Albert Myers and son morltuary of Elkview. The body will be taken to the residence at 1 p.m. today.
