first, according to the marriage record, she would have been born in 1906, it said she was forty and widowed and it was 1946, second, I found the obit for a Marie Markham, bof Belle that died in 2003, and it appears she had been married previously to a Dean.
an excerpt from the obit:
Marie L. Dean Markham, 87, of Belle died Tuesday, June 24, at Heartland of Charleston after an extended illness. .....................Preceding her in death was her husband Carl Dean, a son ..............
