I have extensive data on the prison including 1870, 1880, 1900,1910,1920,1930 and 1940 indexed census. Walter does not appear in any of these. I also have the death records of 934 prisoners who died or where excuted plus 248 who are buried at the prison cemetery. Walter is not listed in any of this data. Does your family tree include Barbara Sullivan Forester from 1803 from Virginia that married John Forester in Greene Co, Pa? They later moved to Kentucky where she died.
