I have an image of a Union Soldier Headstone Application for John W. Proctor d. Jan 1897 buried at:

Greenwood Memorial Terrace, Spokane, Spokane, Washington, USA

There is a photo of the headstone on Find AGrave.

Could this be your John W. Proctor? An earlier post in this thread states John Sr. died earlier than 1897, but I do not have any info on that.

Any info and/or corrections would be appreciated.
