Although it is great that you are a volunteer researcher, I think that a less strongly worded posting would be more helpful. I'm of the Fetterly clan, and I have been doing research on my family for about 15 years. I've managed to find info on them with just a name, place of residence, and no dates by comparing them with neighbors listed in the same census.

Next time you do a posting, try to do so in a more friendly tone.
