This is definitely my Timothy. Benjamin Blackford owned three furnaces in Shenandoah and Page Counties. Timothy worked at Isabella Furnace as did his father-in-law, John Glenn. John Glenn followed Blackford from PA to MD to VA. In the 1830 census Timothy was in Shenandoah County, in 1840 he was back in Page County, and Julia Miller said in her widow's pension application that he died in Frederick County. I agree that a family history might be found outside Shenandoah/Page Counties. There were several different Miller families early in Shenandoah County, one of German origin. None of the histories of these families has a place for Timothy. That's why I was trying to find out if any of the other Millers who married into the Barton families that Timothy's lines also married into, had ties to these other Shenandoah Miller lines. I have not been successful.
