Good Luck in your searches! Record keeping wasn't very good back then, and most families tended to use the same given names for all the kids in every family, so it makes it very hard to distinguish folks. Your best bet is to find old family records, and they are hard to come by. My Grandmother had a trunk full of old letters, cards, records, and such, and when she died my mother "got rid of that trunk of old junk she's been hanging on to for years." Threw it in the dump! I thought I would die! It had pictures with names and dates, two old family bibles, birth certificates and death notices and letters telling of things that went on in the family, newpaper articles, all kinds of good stuff! She also sold an antique walnut and marble bedroom suite for $100 because it was "just old furniture". Any informatioin you could share would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much!
