Sue,
I just posted that pic this morning, lol
I have uncle George's Picture too.
I was able to find more info about who Uncle George Lee married. He married Rhoda Jane Woolford.
Rhoda was the daughter of Samuel Wolford and Hannah Surran. (both of NJ)) She married George in 1875 according to census info.
They moved to Upper Darby PA sometime between 1890 and 1900. From 1900 on, records show them in Pa. Upper Darby is a suburb of Philladelphia. The photo I have of Uncle George was taken in philadelphia.
Rhoda was the 8th of 12 children to Samuel and Hanna,

James Sr Died in Virginia I think, (Emmaline's Dad) James Jr died in 1902 and is burried with Carrie Lee Garrison and Eugene Waldo Calkin (my great Grandparents) I took pictures of the gravesite in January. What is interesting about it is that it is in a private section within the Masonic section.. it has markers around it around it sectioning it off and as you enter it there are to small black templar stones guarding the entrance. (they have the tilted crosses on them which indicates a knight is burried there)
I do not know which one of the two were Templar Knights, I know my great great grandpa was a 33rd degree but I do not know if he was a Knight as well. I sent an email to the grand secretary here to find out.
Uncle James Lee died in 1902, Eugene W died in 1951, and Carrie Lee died in 1957.
I am attaching pictures,
The First one is of Uncle George Lee, taken in phila by Lewellen Sawyer photography. What is interesting here is that Sawyer was a Union soldier in the cival war from New England. He deserted twice before getting a dishonorable discharge. He then moved to philadelphia and opened a photography studio. It was located on Market st.
The Second and third Photos are of my third great grandparents. Emmaline (LEE) GARRISON and Furman GARRISON
The last one is of The gravesite I mentioned earlier, you can clearly see how much space is surrounding the grave.
The Oblisk is about 6ft 5 inches tall. If you zoom in you can see the name Lee towards the base. Carrie Lee and Eugene were burried afterwards.
I have photos of Carrie Lee, Uncle Frank and Aunt Myrtie GARRISON and will be posting them to my tree along with a few more photos.
It is nice to meet you all!!
