I'm responding to a long ago message you put on roots web
William Law and Mary Burnside are also my 4th great grandparents. Their son William is my 3rd great grandfather.
I am trying to trace them from Northern Ireland back to Scotland and to the Maclaren clan I think they belong to.
Any info would be greatly appreciated
