It could still be the same Thomas, because I never checked to see if William had any natural sisters. It would have to be one of Williams sisters and not the children of Mary Blankenship, because they were not married until 1837.
For some reason lost to history, there were specified nicknames that were substituted for real names. Molly or Polly was usually a nickname for Mary, and Patsy was a nickname for Martha. I am sure there will be a connection.
