I have a digital image of the ministers return for marriages performed by Saml Gray in 1800 that shows John Reid and Ruth Tharp. You may find the actual marriage bond and license info on LDS microfilm #1906398, Marriage bonds 1770-1815.

The attached image was from film #1906400, Marriage bonds 1838-1850 Minister's returns 1782-1854 (Not in order: 1820-1854, 1782-1819. May also have some bonds or licenses mixed with returns.) Most of these are very legible and are microfilm of the original documents which are loose pieces of paper and have father of the bride and grooms signatures. Some include a mothers name for bride or groom, but very few.
