Surnames: Glenn
Glenn:

The Glenns you mention ended up on Gallia County Ohio. The Glenns I am researching are in Newville, PA, Cumberland Co. and end up in Gallia Co Ohio by way of Westmoreland and Washington Co. PA. This is also the line of Senator John Glenn. The family were members of Big Spring Presbyterian Church in Newville in the 1770-1780's. The first Glenn mentioned is Gabriel from Ireland with possible sons, David b. 1748, Gabriel b. ca 1739, Thomas ?, and John ?. There was also a Hugh and a Moses, not sure how connected. For all these Glenns to end up on Gallia Co with your Glenns, there must be a distant connection.

I am researching a John Clark Glenn b. 1771 in PA but I don't know which of these Glenns to connect him to. He ends up in Shenandoah Co. VA. but was married in Cumberland Co. in 1796. I think he belongs to the Newville Glenns.

Thanks for your information. Every little bit helps put the pieces together.
