I am with you on all of the above. Preston Walker (1870-1877) is buried in Deep Creek. I have different dates but it could just be I can't read the headstone very well. Also Charles Madison Walker I can't find much on him either. I don't know about an Edward? I just don't know when I am going to be able to do it. Also I have a book about Wise County that I purchased thru the Wise County that list a Robert Walker who was the first teacher in the school in Decatur. I don't know if they are related but it does have him listed several places with Madison Walker. Not sure if it is just because they have the same name or if they are related. Have you heard of him?

I went over to Decatur to look at the genealogy museum in the old Baptist college. I did not know what they had. They have a ton of information. I now have a few specific questions to ask about this family. I will go see what I can find out in the next week or so.
