John Mabe Autrey, second son of Absalom and Elizabeth (Norris) Autrey, of Dubach La., b. 1828 in Perry Co. Ala., m. Dianance Wallace in 1851 in Union Parish, La. They had 11 children. There is no record when John Mabe died or where he is buried. Diancy died 1925 in Waco, Texas, buried in the Park Lawn Cemetery In Waco.

Children: Mary Frances, Jane P, Thomas Marion, Ephram Pennington, Carrie Elizabeth, John Absalom, Martha Judy, Dianah, Sarah E., Charles Wesley and Tereanna Autrey.

Various members of this family moved back and forth between La. and Texas.
