CAMERON — Steve Malone, 64, of Houston and formerly of Cameron died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007 in a Houston nursing facility. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Chris Norton officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron.

Mr. Malone, an electronic technician, was born Sept. 2, 1943 in Milam County to Odie and Leora (Miller) Malone.

He married Dolores Tepera in 1966.

Survivors include his wife, Dolores Malone of Houston; two sons, Todd Michael Malone of Bryan and Keith Mark Malone and wife Angela of Cypress; daughter, Stacy Nichole Powderly and husband John of Charolette, NC; mother, Leora Malone of Cameron; brother, Joe Michael Malone of Cameron; sister, Sandra Corbin of Cameron; three grandchildren.
