Billy (Cookie) Lee, 68, of Hearne died Aug. 10. Funeral services were held Aug. 18 at New Elam Baptist Church in Hearne.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie; father, Otis; sisters, Minnie, Pearl and Kathy; brother, William; grandson, Shaquille.

Survivor include his wife, Carolyn; daughters, Sandra, Lovie and Latonia; their husbands Operis, Frederick and Tyrone; sisters, Ruth and husband, Ossie, and Barbara and husband, Vernon; brothers Freddie and wife, Hazel, Crafford and wife, Hattie, Robert and wife, Della, Herman and wife, Essie, Jerry and wife, Patricia, and Charles; grandchildren, Mark, Darrell, Joseph, Sunshine, Kelly, Melvin, Billie, De Vantae, Shauntae, Shaqurana, Tyrone, Erania and Darius; family friend, Faye; nieces nephews, relatives and friends.
