Hi; my name is Marion Jones and Amos Eaker was my gr gr grandfather on my mothers side. Her Name was Muriel Eaker. Since you visited Valley Spring area where they lived since 1854 did you know that Amos on June 10, 1866 married a Martha Epperson there and she died June 1867 and is buried in the Epperson Cemetary in Valley Spring. Some of the Eppersons still ranch in that area. Amos then married Clementine Ake from nearby San Saba County on December 29, 1868.
