Hi, I have Mary A. Schoepf born in 1845, daughter of Charles and Anna Elizabeth Dietz Schoepf. She married Rufus Hinyard on Nov. 30, 1864 in Bastrop Co, TX. Charles Schoepf came to America from Germany. Anna Elizabeth Dietz was daughter of Andrew Dietz. Andrew had a land grant near Salado, TX where Charles Schoepf lived and died on. He (Charles)also had a land grant in Comal Co. I have proof that Charles was in Texas in 1837 and fought in several skirmishes with the Indians. I have children of Mary A. Schoepf Hinyard as Lizzie, Charles, Ben, Rufus P., William H., and Annie. Lizzie married a W. J. Wamel and Annie married J. A. Stump. I am the daughter of Earl Thomas Schoepf Jr., he is the son of Earl Thomas Schoepf, son of George Washington Schoepf, son of Charles Schoepf. George Washington is the youngest brother of Mary.
