Louis Lancaster is the son of Nathan VanBuren Tackitt, who was married to Eliz. Potter. Louis and Mary Burnett was married in Cherokee co, Texas Jan.,22 1873. We were told by my grandfather Samuel Lancaster Tackitt that his parents are buried in Fort Parker, Texas. If this is so, their graves are marked by just stones. We have no information on Mary Burnett.and there is very little on Louis Lancaster Tackitt.. Louis was married three times. Eliz. Simmons m. 1861, Caroline B. Davis 1870 Cherokee co, Texas and then Mary Burnett. We are unable to find three of his children 1. Ellen ( mother Eliz Simmons) b.1866, we think she married James Bulin. 2. Nathaniel ( Nathan) 9 mother Eliz. Simmons) b.1862 and 3. Maggie ( mother Mary Burnett) b. 1879 and we think she married S O Foster 25 Feb 1894 in Navarro co, Texas. Any help would be appreciated.
