Mr. Smith, I am hoping you can help me. My husbands grandmother was Lucinda Smith, born 1874 in Texas. Per her death cert. her father was James/Jim Smith, born about 1842 in Mississippi. His wife was Josephine ?, also born in Mississippi. I found them on the Trinity co. 1870 census along with son John James, age 1. Josephine next appears on the Polk Co. site as married to Willoughby Tullos. Oh, Lucinda also had a sister named Missouri Ann, born 1871. Missouri married a M.F. Rogers. I am trying to find where James and Josephine married, where they lived other than the above mentioned counties. Lucinda married Angus Jefferson Lewis, later divorced. Any information you could give me would be appreciated. I understand you have a data base with many Smith's listed.
