William Pierpont d. 1866 Wharton Co. TX. His son William John Davis Pierpont b.8 Dec 1823 Ashtabula Co., OH, d. 19 Jan 1879 Wrightsboro, Gonzales TX. He married a Martha Buchanan from Tenn. their daughter Maude Pink Pierpont was my husband's great grandmother. She married a C. Edwin Bailey in TX. They had a daughter Lydia Maude Bailey who married John Martin Fowler in CA. Does any of that help?
