Surnames: Klepper, Beverly
Joseph Klepper and family came to Collin County, Texas in the late 1840's, and was a Peters Colonist. His section included what is now the west part of downtown Plano, Tx. One of his sons is the 2nd marked burial in the Routh Cemetery, east of US75, north of Glenville Dr. Joseph's wife Nancy and William Beverly are siblings. William's first wife is the first marked burial in the Routh Cemetery.

There are several Kleppers buried in the Old Plano Cemetery on Ave. H and 10th in Plano, as well as some of William Beverly's family. Both families constitute some of the earlist residents of what was to become Plano. The book "Plano, Texas - The Early Years" 1985, Friends of Plano Librarys, also has some information on these families. This book is available at the Plano Harrington Library on 18th Street in East Plano.

I have US Census copies from 1850, 1860, and 1870 listing these families. Let me know if you would like additional information.
