As for my Griffins being kin to yours, I really don't think so. I can see no link.
My Griffins came to Angelina Co., about 1845 and left soon after 1850. They came from Catahoula Parrish, La. At least they were there on the 1840 census and they had one child there in 1842. After leaving Angelina Co., they went to Dallas Co.,Tx., where they lived out there natural lives.
As far back as I have been able to go with my Griffins is 1830 in Tnn. Isaac Wilson Griffin and Elizabeth H.H.
