To find more info about him and if you live in TN, you can contact the TN State Library and Archives, www.tn.gov/tsla/history/county/factweakley.htm who has microfilm of wills from 1828, marriages from 1843, deed index from 1822, etc. The Library will only loan out their microfilm to institutions in TN.

You can contact the Weakley Historical & Genealogy Society, www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~tnweakle/Weakley_Co_Historical. Their web site doesn't say they do research but it doesn't hurt to ask. Hopefully they'll have a copy of his obituary. Successful Searching!
