I am trying to do research on John White b. 1947 Washington Co TN who married Nancy Gentry in Brown Co KS in 1872. We've been told that his parents were James Joseph White and Sally Parks and their marraige date was 5 Mar 1842 in Washington Co TN.
John's siblings that my great grandmother listed were: George,Phillip,James,Wesley,William and a sister named Mary.
She stated that George and Phillip were killed during the Civil War. I do not have many details on the siblings. She thought Mary married a Rotstetler (not sure of spelling)

I would be glad to find out anything on the Parks,White or other possible related famalies. I do know that the Gillispie,Cornelison and Sevier familes appear in Brown Co KS and have family connections thru other family lines to these families.
